This book was published in January 2011 with 60 pages including 230 color photos of Beetles.  Many insects have three views i.e., top, side and front.  The book has two indexes.  One is a species index with the scientific names and the other is a picture index with a top view of the insect and its corresponding page number in the book.  There are directions for building a Live Beetle Viewer with two paper cups.  Specific areas are noted for the collection location of each beetle and most are in Madera Canyon in the Santa Rita Mountains south of Tucson.

This book was published in 2008 with 42 pages including color photos and two maps.  Many of the huge number of beetles found in this area (one of the largest sand dunes in North America) are pictured in this book.  Representatives of 20 families are shown, with scientific name and size in length. Many habitat photos are included.
